Mencap UK commissioned Project Art Works to contribute to a National Training Video on good practice in the arts for people who have a learning disability.

We set–up and ran 2 days of creative workshops with adults from Open Door and Active Arts at Frimley (Mencap), St Leonards–on–Sea. The workshops and subsequent exhibition at Electro Studios, St Leonards, were filmed by the team making the video for Mencap. The participants from Frimley engaged with real energy and openness to the activities involved in making the video.

The video was launched at the Royal Festival Hall, London in October 2002.
